Well we had to eventually post this obligatory message to maintain civility in our kingdom. That being said, please try to keep to the rules as best as possible or the moderators will whip out their +1 ban hammer and start the slaughter.
Now we know that playing by post and trying to control what people say in character just doesn't work well in these situations. People tend to hate you for trying to do that. So with that being said below are the standard rules for the sake of them being there but note that in game conversations between characters or when describing the story we will be lenient and typically let it go as long as everyone is getting along.
Obligatory Rules Listing
1. Please keep the conversations clean. We like to think our hobbies our intellectual and that we can discuss them without people making offensive, racist or otherwise hurtful remarks. It doesn't matter if your 12 or 53 years of age as we should all have some manners ingrained and should be able to carry out a good conversation.
You may report a user's inappropriate remarks which we will analyze carefully and in the context of the conversation taking place before rendering justice. Those who cry wolf can also find themselves on the end of the ban hammer.
2. Try to keep conversation on topic. A moderator may pop in occasionally to warn people to get the topic back on track otherwise the thread will get locked down.
3. Most importantly were all here to have fun. So let us do what we can to achieve that by making a great community. "Only you can prevent forum prosperity!"
